I have written the book: Totems and the word of God to expose the practice of using totems which
is rife in Sub-Saharan Africa and is also found in other countries in Europe, Asia and America in
more subtle ways. Throughout the book I have used the scriptures to make my case against the
practice. Most people follow the practice out of respect for culture or the traditions of the elders or
forefathers without even stopping to consider whether or not it is right and acceptable in the
